Mary Schmitt Obituary

Mary Ann SCHMITT On April 25th, 2011 Mary joined her beloved Gib, her recently deceased husband of 61 years. Born in St. Joseph, MN on June 30, 1928, she grew up in Idaho Falls, ID, marrying Gib in 1949. A resident of the Northgate area for 25 years, she worked at Long's Drugs and was a dedicated member of Christ the King Church. She loved her North Seattle neighborhood and its wonderful people. She is survived by her children, daughter Marcia, sonsJon, Wayne, David, Frank, and Mark and granddaughters Kindell and Kennedy. Services will be private. Masses for Mary's intention are scheduled for 8:40 on 6/9 and 6/11 at Christ the King. Remembrances may be made to St Martin de Porres Shelter,1561 Alaskan Way South, Seattle WA 98134.

Dear Marcia and family - I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I was glad to know her and my conversations with her over the years were always fascinating. I hope you can find some peace during this difficult time. Condolences to you also on the loss of your father. He was great guy.
