Masao Yaguchi Obituary

Masao William "Bill" YAGUCHI Born Oct. 13,1915 in Tacoma, WA. and passed away peacefully at home on May 28,2011 at the age of 95. Preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy, in 2010. He is survived by his daughter Kathleen Yamamoto(Masaru), granddaughter Stacey Yamamoto, brothers Kenji Yaguchi (Kazie) and Mako Yaguchi(Pauline), sisters Harko Yaguchi, Tsuneko Mitani(John), and Masaye Yamane. Bill graduated from Fife High School, interned at the Minidoka Internment Camp during World War ll and lived in Spokane, Bothell, Kent, and Renton WA. Member of Masonic Ashler Lodge 121 Bothell, held many offices in the Order of the Amaranth and White Shrine, and member of White River Buddhist Temple. Bill was a skilled farmer, expert fisherman, and caring father and grandpa. Memorial service is at 3 PM Sat. June 11 at the White River Buddhist Temple, 3625 Auburn Way N., Auburn, WA. Viewing will be on June 12, 1:00-2:30 PM at Evergreen-Washelli, 11111 Aurora Ave. N., Seattle, WA. Graveside service will be held at 3 PM Sun. June 12 at Evergreen- Washelli.

Kathy,
I was deeply saddened to hear about Bill passing. I have fawn memories of our families on the farm. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.
