Mignon TINGLEY Obituary

Mignon Elizabeth 'Betty' TINGLEY Age 89, died May 12, 2011 in Mill Creek, Washington. Born October 11, 1921 in Milford, Massachusetts to Rev. George and Emma DuMond Chase. Graduate of Foxboro High School in 1939, Moved to the Seattle area in 1948. She is survived by her sons Jay Tingley of Anchor Point, Alaska and Jeffrey (Ellen) Tingley of Lynnwood; daughters Joan (Carl) Miner of Chandler, Arizona and Jill (James) Herbert of Seward, Alaska; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother George Chase and sister Sarah Beane. Her sister Louise Tingley predeceased her. Longtime resident of the Richmond Beach area. Retired cook at Stevens Hospital and past cook at Northwest Hospital. Betty was a volunteer for Shoreline Senior Center. A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00PM, Friday, May 20, 2011 at Wiggen & Sons Funeral Home - 2003 N.W. 57th St., Seattle. In lieu of flowers remembrances suggested to the Cottages at Mill Creek - 13200 10th Drive S.E. Mill Creek, WA 98012.
