I am a member of Seattle Elks 92. We moved to Mukilteo and no longer get the Times so I missed the obituary or I would have been at the celebration of his life. I am sorry and saddened that I was not there to honor Ralph. Yes, just a hello from Ralph made you smile. I spent many happy hours playing cribbage with Ralph. He was a great person, a great friend, I will certainly miss him.

Grandpa, You truly were a great man who I always looked up to. I always loved our conversations about history, politics and soccer. You were the most knowledgeable man I ever knew. If I had a question, you were the first person I would ask. I am so glad you were able to meet your great-grand-daughter Hudsyn. I only wish you could of met Harlow. I am a better man just having you as a Grandfather. We miss you. With love, Ryan, Mariah, Hudsyn and Harlow.

Dear Hyneman Family, My deepest condolences on the passing of Ralph. Ralph, like all the members of your family, was a wonderful human being. I was fortunate enough to have been a close friend of Chas' and to meet and spend time with your loving family. My heartfelt prayers are with each of you. Your family will always be a part of my heart.

I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Ralph's passing this last weekend. I have attached a picture with mom (Aunt Mary), Joanne, Jack and Ralph when they visited Minnesota the last time. Uncle Ralph was a "character" to say the least, and he always made me laugh when I'd see him.

I will cherish the many good memories Denise and I have while raising our kids with Ralph's interesting comments, remarks and humor. He truly added much to my world at that time!
