Ralph Mennie Obituary
Ralph J. MENNIE Ralph Jerome Mennie, 83, Des Moines, died Feb. 6, 2011. Born Feb. 4, 1928, to Ralph & Elta Mennie, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps before a 45-year career with The Boeing Company. He married Eva Poirier in 1946; they had a daughter and later divorced. He married Esther Rude in 1952; they had three children and were married 32 years when Esther passed away. He married Janet Dawson in 1985 and they celebrated their 25th anniversary last summer. Ralph leaves his wife, Janet; children Teri, Ralph, Don, Annette, John, Nancy; sisters Roni, Rae, Cindy; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral mass 11:00 a.m. Friday at Saint Vincent de Paul, 30525 8th Avenue So., Federal Way. The family requests memorials to Nantz National Alzheimer Center, Methodist Hospital, Houston. www.NantzFriends.org.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
