Remembering a great guy like Bob is always easy. We miss him but he was a joy to know

I am so sorry for not having known that Bob's funeral was at St. Brendan's where my wife and I attend. My prayers go out to the family in his passing.
Bob was a great friend and mentor in my earlier days selling in the food industry. I always enjoyed our conversations and his humor. Both he and Terry were great partners in the business and I learned so much from them that today 40+ years later my career all started from learning from them. May God bless him and keep him.

I was lucky enough to grow up with Bob's daughters Denise and Diane. I was in the same grade as Denise and my sister, Michelle, was friends with Diane. I have very fond memories of boating with the Diemerts to Vancouver Island, meeting their friends and rowing in the dingy! Bob and Joan were like second parents to me and I loved them. My last visit with Bob was really nice and it's how I will remember him, jolly, kind and sincere.

My deepest sympathy to all of Bob's family. I was a secretary for the Terry-Diemert Company in their early years, in the small building that was torn down to make room for I-5, and always loved working for he and Bill. He was a great boss and a wonderful Seafair Clown. God Bless. Irene Bergstrom

Uncle Bob, I will always remember you at the annual Fourth of July Celebration at Gene & Corrinne's cabin out at the lake. When you would come you always welcomed me a big smile and big hug. I will always remember your boisterous laugh. I will never forget the one year Uncle Bobby brought his video camera. Christopher was born in 1989...he was 5 months old...think "80's Big Hair"...yes Uncle Bobby video taped me holding Christopher and my hair was bigger than my son!!! Only Uncle Bobby would of captured such a moment! Uncle Bobby I wish you peace & happiness with Auntie Joanie...you now can be together at last...Love Always & Forever, Cheryl

I knew Bob from years of clowning together. He was truly a kind heart and a class gentleman. Unfortunately, his brand of human being is difficult to find and will be sorely missed in this world.

It has been a few years since I have seen Bob, We would meet in Kirkland for breakfast. He was one of a kind and by that I mean a "Very Special Person". I enjoyed his professionalism in business as well as life. He helped everyone be better in all aspects of their lives. I know he will be missed, but has left a legacy for all he has touched. Uncle Bob, you are one of the men I have respected and admired all of my life and I will miss you greatly. You have always had such a warm spot in my heart; even before you became my Godfather. We enjoyed each other's company and even though I'm sure I'm not the only one you called your "favorite" I always felt like I was. Your smile and the joy on your face when I came to visit or bring your annual Christmas goodies was like warm sunshine. I will miss you greatly, but the warm spot in my heart that's yours will always be with me.

Uncle Bob always sported a smile, had a kind heart, and loved kids. At our family gatherings he always made a point of talking to all us kids and as we grew older he was always interesed in what we were up to and how we were doing. Once we (nieces and nephews) grew up and started having kidsof our own you would still find him at our family gatherings amongst the kids (great nieces and nephews). He loved their antics and at our 4th of July picnic they would always put on a show for him which he would capture on film. I have him to thank for my love of popcorn because he always kept us supplied with Jollytime popcorn. Threatened (jokingly) to cut me off if I ever tried another brand.
You will truly be missed but I'm so glad you are resting peacefully now and that you and Aunty Joanie can be together again. I know how much you missed her.

Bob was a second father to me. He was stern when he needed to be, but he had a heart of gold. I am a much better person because of him. Thank you Bob.

Bob was a vital part of our neighborhood that belied his years; he was kind and generous and he had a lively sense of humor. My husband and I will miss him.

Knowing Bob was a pleasure. One of the most genuine, kind persons I've ever met. Always a sincere interest expressed along with a sense of humor that could not be beat. One of the top gentlemen I've ever had the pleasure to know. God Bless him!
