Ron DUPRE Ron Dupre, 69, of Rancho Mirage, CA died from liver failure February 13, 2011. Ron was born July 27, 1941 in Putnam, CT, graduated from Putnam High School in 1959, received a BA from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI in 1963, and worked in Hartford from 1963 to 1967. He then moved to Los Angeles, was General Sales Manager for Norfolk Southern Railroad for 25 years, then transferred to Seattle. He worked for the railroad until retiring in 1996, then was a living skills assistant for the developmentally disabled before moving back to CA in 2004. Ron was outgoing, charismatic, had a great sense of humor and traveled the world. He was an avid reader, loved movies, the gym, and Barbra Streisand. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. Ron was preceded in death by par- ents Albina (Roy) and Armand Dupre and by partner Angelo Lucca. He is survived by sister Jean and brother-in-law Art Sirois of Cumberland, RI and by nieces Kristen Kern of Cumberland and Meredith Morris of Dedham, MA. Celebrations of his life will be held in Rancho Mirage March 12 and in Los Angeles in June.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
