Brandes Family,
Thank you for being such a wonderful part of my husband's childhood. Your mom was an amazing woman who touched him deeply. She taught him many great things. When I became part of Eric's life she welcomed me with open arms and made a great impact. Her stories were priceless. She will be missed. Our love to all of you during this difficult time of loss.

So sorry for the loss of your beloved Diane. We go back to the days of Calvary Lutheran. Many memories. When we met some months back, it was like we were still there. As you remember her, may the fun times you shared bring you tears of joy as well as tears of sadness. She lives on in her children and grandchildren. Hugs, Sibbie & Emily Kristjanson

Hi,
I remember meeting, Diane, years ago when, I was younger. I was a neighbor to Lissa, Brandon, Jaime, Neil. When they lived in, Seattle. (Corky Cook's daughter.) We had lots of animals and, they're kids all played at our house, we even, raised the cat, Neil, Jaime, gave us.We gave them a rooster for they're parents farm in, Arlington. Which, is now where I live. I remember Diane, as, being a nice lady. My condolences to The Byron Family.

This wonderful woman Diane Brandes left this earth far too soon
I will remember Diane's kindness, her shy/sweet giggle, and gentle nature.
Her daughter, Stephanie Brandes Coleman is someone I hold dear and I can attest to the fine job Diane did in raising this smart, strong young woman.
Diane will be missed immensely by her family, grandchildren, and all that knew her.
May this little poem bring some comfort and solace.
THE LITTLE SHIP
I stood watching as the little ship sailed out to sea. The setting sun
tinted her white sails with a golden light, and as she disappeared from sight a voice at my side whispered She is gone".
But the sea was a narrow one. On the farther shore a little band of friends
had gathered to watch and wait in happy expectation. Suddenly they
caught sight of the tiny sail and, at the very moment when my
companion had whispered, "She is gone"
a glad shout went up in joyous welcome,"Here she comes!"

Though I didn't know Diane well at all, I am still deeply saddened by her loss. I have met her, twice I think, and found her to be a truly delightful person. I am married to her niece and the whole Byron family that I have met are truly warm and caring folks. This carried on to Diane who treated me like she'd known me all of her life.
I didn't know her well, but, I still miss her.
I'm so sorry she had to leave us. Hugs and Prayers to all.

I did not know Diane, although I respect her for the fine, honorable, kind son she raised with Andy. Andy is my cousin, Janice's, husband and unselfishly helped my Mom when she was ill last year. I can only imagine the sights Diane is seeing today, with my Mom who recently passed over the bridge to heaven. I am certain my Mom was there to embrace and welcome Diane. Diane must have been quite a woman to raise such wonderful children. Blessings of comfort to the entire family.
