I've been thinking of Sandy often lately. One of the guys who I wish I could sit down with and shoot the breeze over a pitcher or two. I'll never forget your joy.

Even though I hadn't seen Sandy very often in the last 25 years, he has always been more of a part of what I am than I'd realized. Phrases, greetings, fun memories, and the unforgettable Sandy laugh and smile are so much of the fabric of my life. Sandy (Son!), you'll always be there. ...

I will miss our times discussing HS football and music, & being with him at the games. Also BSing after the games with a "few" drinks with his other many friends.

I will always remember Sandy during our West Seattle years of the 70's. His VW van, nights at the Embers, days at his woodshop, lots of beer and a lot of fun. He was a good friend.

What a GREAT man. If you were to stop in just to say hi you better have at least 3hrs to hang out. He always had something great to show you or some awesome tunes to share with you. Sandy was somone you could spend all day with and it would feel like you had only been there an hour. We all will miss him. Love the Hogans

My heart goes out to Sandy’s family. Sandy was one of the kindest, most sincere, and genuine people I ever knew. He cared about people deeply. His sense of humor was amazing. We had so many good times…..too many to even count. He has left a very large void in the lives of many. I will miss his laughter, his jokes, his music, and just him. I bet JD was waiting for him. It was truly a privilege to have Sandy as a friend.

I had the pleasure of knowing Sandy, and working for him on occasion. He was a kind and giving person and always willing to lend a hand if one was needed. He will be very greatly missed and never forgotten.

Sandy was a great friend and person. We had so much fun hanging out and listening to his musical friends. There will be an empty chair at the Orting Eagles, but, it will be filled with loving memories. Sandy got along with everyone and never had anything negative to say about others. Sandy was so happy to become a grandpa. He proudly showed his grandson's picture to everyone. We will all miss him. To Sandy's family, my thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May memories bring you comfort.

One heck of a friend, I will miss him and his sense of humor.
I had a good time working and partying with him!
I hope he has fun in that big cabinet shop in the sky.
