Thomas Orin HARRIS

Thomas Orin HARRIS Born May 28, 1938 in Seattle; died April 4, 2011 at his home, also in Seattle. Survived by his brothers, John P. Harris (Katherine) and Joseph C. Harris (Susan Pepka); his nieces and nephews, Michael P. Harris (Leslie), Claire Richardson (John), Sean Harris (Courtney), Rebecca Masters (R.J.), Colleen Harris, Marianne McGah (Pat), and Charles 'C J' Harris; and his grand-nieces and cousins. Tom spent 3 years in the U S Army including his service in Korea. He retired from Bethlehem Steel after 30 years, then volunteered at Providence Hospital and worked for Goodwill Industries. Tom was an avid baseball fan, and he enjoyed many afternoons at Longacres Race Track. He was an avid reader and wrote many letters to the editors of local newspapers on political issues. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, April 7th, at 10 AM at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, 1408 W. Dravus St., Seattle, 98119.
