Timothy Herzog Obituary

Timothy Richard HERZOG Timothy Richard Herzog died on March 29 in Hong Kong from massive brain trauma suffered from a fall near his home in Qing- dao, China. He was ten years old. Tim was a funny, sweet-spirited, generous boy who loved music, soccer, baseball, and making things. Tim's parents continued the legacy of his generosity by donating his organs, which saved the lives of five people. He is survived by his parents, Rick and Stephanie (Ruark) Herzog, and siblings Lydia, Danny, and Naomi of Seattle (all currently residing in Qingdao, China); grandparents Keith and Barbara Herzog of Redmond, Sylvan and Karin Ruark of Germany, and Dick and Rebecca Haunschild of Spokane; many loving relatives, and zillions of friends all over the world. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 12 at 2:00 at University Presbyterian Church in Seattle. In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to Qingdao International School's Fine Arts Department to honor Tim's love for music and the arts. Donations can be made at www.LDiChina.com, marked "In memory of Tim Herzog". Go to www.LDiChina.com to donate.

I can't image how the rest of family members recovers from the tragic loss. Every time when I read Timothy's news, I can't help to grieve and cry for him since my son had a severe head trauma years ago and I had suffered a lot at that time. I keep praying for your family to get throught the tough time.
