William F. KOTELMAN "Uncle Bill" A lifetime resident of Seattle, Bill Kotelman died on January 22, 2011. He was born on September 15, 1923. After attending Maple Leaf Grade and Lincoln High Schools, Bill joined the Navy and served in the Pacific during WWII. He was a meat cutter until retirement. Bill is pre-deceased by his wife of 47 years, Irene (Nicholiasen) and his son, Michael. He is survived by his niece, Gail (Bilodeau) Harrison; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, George and Mary (Nicholiasen) Jurisich; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. Devoted, longtime friends are John Azzola, Bill Bannecker, Robert Brown, Victor Higgins, Earl Mehldahl and Earl Pilgrim. A very special thank you and deep gratitude to the staff of Wesley Gardens Health Center. Memorials may be made to Medic 1 of Seattle or charity of choice. Bill will join his beloved wife at Calvary Cemetery.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Bill was a good friend from grade school through high school and adult life. I was his best man and he was mine. He and his wife were my oldest daughter's God Parents. I will truly miss him!
