He never wavered for a moment from that decision and he developed a passion to lead others to the Lord. In 1944 Ray and his wife Vera, also a MBI grad, founded Life Messengers. The booklet he wrote "Here's How" had over 65 million copies printed in many languages leading many read ers to place their faith in Jesus. Many other booklets and tracts were also printed. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Gerrie Johnson, Ross and Dena Johnson, Jeff and Patti Johnson and Kevin and Lori Johnson as well as 10 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchil dren and 2 Great Great Grandchil dren. We remember Ray's passion for the Word of God and his passion to see people come to Christ. He was a great example for all of us. Many times while I was preaching I would quote from what I fondly called "Grampa Johnson's Translation. It was an honor to know him.
