My heart will ache for a long time. I know how many of us knew she was in pain. Collectively, we would have been a strong voice. I miss Laryn everyday. We will keep her memory and her missions alive. We just need to get through these first few weeks of pain. We had great plans for the beginning of June.

Laryn had style and class. A beautiful woman but still down to earth. She loved people and could make anyone feel at ease. A kind, genuine person. She will be missed.

I worked with Laryn many years ago at the Seattle Times, when we were both in our 20's. She and I were born the same year and had lots in common. When she left the Times, we lost touch, and I wish I would have contacted her in recent years. I always loved her positivity, energy and beautiful spirit! I am so sorry to hear of her sudden passing. With love, Karen (Rosini) Themelis
