My late husband Stan and I met Mollie and Lou at Smoke Tree Ranch and were privileged to know them and their outstanding family. We had Wisconsin connections in common and admired his philosophy of life, his generosity, sense of humor and brilliance as well as Mollie and Lou's long lasting marriage. The problems of today's world would be helped by their philosophy.

Lou Pepper was not only a man, who loved his family and a successful businessman. He treated people with respect and compassion. We sat on Sunday afternoons in conversation. I never realized his professional position until one day, and he was still Lou to me.
Thank you, Lou for the lessons I am still learning.
My condolences to the Pepper Family, and I am grateful for my time with this good man.

Lou was always so kind and good to me during my years I knew him at the pool in Anacortes. We constantly had a memory of a funny situation that always made us laugh together. I am happy to have known him. Thank you and very sorry for the family's loss.

Lou was one of the greats and will be missed. I was blessed to know him and work for him. I will always hold dear the many lessons I learned from him while growing up at Washington Mutual. Sending much love and light to his family.
