Bertha Tuttle Obituary

Bertha A. TUTTLE, "Granny" Age 91, was taken away from her loving family and friends on April 20, 2007. Although she lived a long and very happy life surrounded by so many people who loved and adored her, she leaves a void that will be very difficult to fill. Bertha was married twice, to two wonderful men, Alfred Parker and Laurence Tuttle, who loved her deeply. She was a devoted wife and mother who made both Al and Tut's lives complete. Following the death of Bertha's second husband she became the ultimate "Granny" who was the guiding light and inspiration for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren for many, many years. There has never been a more caring person, nor someone who gave their all more than Granny when it came to making others happy. Bertha, and her life-long friend Mae, were diehard Mariner fans together through thick and thin. She also loved to cook huge meals for her loving family. We grieve enormously today, however we will laugh heartily together tomorrow as we remember everything that was so wonderful about this fantastic woman. Bertha is survived by three children, Marty Corbett (Bob), Donna Hollenbeck (Dan) and Terry Tuttle (Sue). She also leaves eleven loving grand children, and eleven loving great grandchildren. Bertha is also survived by her sisters, LaDora and Charlotte plus many nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces. A Visitation will be held on Thurs., April 26th from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. at the Snoqualmie Valley Funeral Chapel, 1202 Boalch Ave NW, North Bend, WA and the Service will start at 1:00 p.m.

There are few people in our lives that leave such a powerful, yet wonderful, loving impression on us.
This is Bertha "Granny" Tuttle. I've been so lucky to have been in her presence and life. She is selfless, caring, interesting and full of humor. She was quick witted and made us all laugh until we cried!!! Granny will be in our hearts forever, NEVER to be forgotten.

Granny will be missed by so many and has left a wonderful mark on this world in raising such wonderful, children, gandchildren, and great grandchildren.

In the short few years that I was able to spend with her she left an impression of overwhelming kindness on me. I would have very meaningfull conversations with her at every family gathering.

Alison and I visited her at her home a few years back and I will never forget the slice of Strawberry Cake she made me eat and when I say made, that's because it was the size of a shoebox! But man was it good.

Just a wonderfull person the only shame is that I did not know her long enough, but I will never forget her.
