Ruby Brewington Obituary
She was born September 25, 1935, in Boone County, near Columbia, Mo., the daughter of John Henry Todd and Sarah Jewell (McBain) Todd. On June 7, 1952, in Guthrie, Oklahoma, she married Oren David "O.D." Brewington, who survives of the home.
Mrs. Brewington worked at the Windsor International Shoe Factory for 15 years, at U.S. Safety, in Windsor, for 5 years and for West Central Home Health Agency for 3 years. Ruby was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses, Clinton, Mo.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 3 sons, Terry A. Brewington and his wife Kathy, Windsor, Mo.; Lloyd D. Brewington and his wife Amy, Sedalia, Mo.; and Michael D. Brewington and his wife Linda, Marshall, Mo.; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, John Todd, Chickasha, Oklahoma; and Tommy Todd, Guthrie, Oklahoma; a sister, Alta Ruth White, Guthrie, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a son, James David Brewington and granddaughter.
Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m., August 15, at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, Clinton, Mo. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society in care of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. Condolences may be left online at www.hadleyfuneralhome.com.
