Deeply felt condolences to the Giraudo Family. I have fond memories of standing on the corner at the 10th Avenue bakery and Steve coming out with Kaiser rolls hot from the oven to give to those of us waiting to catch the #10 Monterey, coming home from SI (when it was on Stanyan Street).

We were shocked and saddened to learn of Cousin Steve's passing. We remember him as a kind and gentle man who cherished the good times with his family. We so enjoyed the Bagna Cauda parties he and Maryellen hosted at their home.We send compassion and encouragement to Maryellen and family to get through this very difficult time. Joe and Bev Giraudo

Steve was from the old school . A man of honor and his word. I worked with Steve for many years . I operated the Mr. submarine sandwich shops and we bought all,of our rolls from Boudin. In the bread business the bakeries picked up the stales and this was always an issue. Steve's dad was always fighting to keep the returns at a minimum and would always say . Order what you need . Your returns are killing me. Steve was always there to manage and repairr hurt feelings. He understood how hard the bakers and drivers worked and loved the bread business . He was always around when we ran out of bread on busy days and would be at the bakery on 10th ave to open and give us the fresh wonderful smelling fresh rolls. I will always remember that wonderful smell.
We all worked hard, but we had a great time and thankful for what we had.
My thoughts and prayers are with Lou and Steves family.
Good bles
