I just heard that Lloyd Schine left us in 2010. I met his son, Lloyd Schindler III recently and he told me the bad news. LLoyd was my RA in Justin Hall in my first year at St. Mary´s College. He was a senior, but he paid attention to us freshmen and was an inspiration. He played football and rugby at St. Mary´s and was the kind of guy I wanted to be like. He had it all , and I miss him terribly. Lloyd III, you have a lot of your father in you, and I was very glad to see that. God bless you and your family.

Condolence to all you and may our prayers console all of you. I used to work with Lorna shortly before she retired. She always talked about all of you and that is why I know you but never met any of you. Mass on Monday 11/29 for Lloyd and Lorna at St Catherine in Vallejo 7:45 am.

It was such a pleasure to meet your dad last year at his SH 40th reunion. He spoke so lovingly of you and he was so proud of your accomplishments. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. Peace -- Lloyd and Lorna.

Lloyd was a kind and gentle man, just the type of man the world needs more of. I have so many great memories of the years he spent with my family -- he was a son my Mom never had and a brother to my sisters and I. Lloyd, you left us far too soon.

I was shocked to hear of Lloyd and Lorna's passing. I was a friend of Lloyd's mom, Mabel,; we met as parishoners of St. Bonaventure and developed a bond. I met Lloyd and Lorna through Mabel. She was SO proud of her son and wouldn't hesitate to let you know every time I saw her. She would also say what a wonderful son he was; never forgetting his mom and dad. And what a great dad he was to his own son, Lloyd, III.
My condolences ot the family. Rosa Rico (Clayton, Ca)

Such tragedy. There is hope in God's Word and there is comfort in those Holy Writings. 2Corinthians 1:3, 4 reads " Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those in any sort of tribulation through the comfort with which we ourselves are being comforted by God." Please find comfort from our Heavenly Father.
