Rose Antonelli Obituary

Rose Antonelli May 5, 1923 - Oct 12, 2010 A beloved mother to all that knew her. Rose was a woman who will forever be remembered for her kind spirit and open heart. She is survived by her brother, son, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. Born and raised in San Francisco, she embodied the spirit of the city - open minded, balanced, nonjudgmental, and independent. A hard worker throughout most of her life, she has overcome many of life's difficult obstacles. Rose also took time to savor the simple pleasures of life. Many have been welcomed into her home and comforted by her gentle words. Every moment with Rose was cherished for we knew how special of a mother she was. The greatest love she gave was the love for her son. Such a profound relationship was touched by all who knew them. To a long life that was enjoyed by those who were dear to her, we honor Rose for the great legacy she had left on this earth. Her presence will always sustain in our hearts. Rose will be part of us always and forever.

Dear Bob, Frances, and the entire Antonelli Family,

It is so tremendously difficult to put into words the void of losing a family member… especially such a meaningful person in your life. We were absolutely heart-broken to hear of Rosie’s passing.

Rosie was a beautiful, kind, and spirited lady – she had a tremendous zest for life and it was always so enjoyable to spend time with her. It was also great to see her get out of the house for special occasions or when she felt strong enough.

Although we are very saddened and will miss Rosie’s physical presence – she will always be with us in spirit… She definitely made a strong impact on our lives and we will really miss her. We deeply believe that she is now with our Lord God and that she is resting peacefully now.

When times get tough – we hope that your wonderful memories of Rosie bring a smile and some joy to your hearts. The best we can do is to take it day-by-day, sometimes minute-by-minute.

David wishes he could be here, but is sending you strength and his prayers to help you get through this very challenging time.

If there is anything either of us can do – please do not hesitate to call us.

Love, Peace, and many Blessings,
Dave and Joanne
