Lesbia Barbosa

Lesbia Barbosa 6/6/1922 12/25/2010 Resident of San Francisco Devoted mother of sons Edgar, Oscar and daughter-in-law Cathy, loving grandmother of Trina Ullius, Theresa Borch & Marcus Barbosa, also, survived by many great-grandchildren, loving sisters Yelba Rosales, Loira Lopez, Martha Cordoba and their children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren; also many, many relatives and friends. Born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras the eldest of five sisters; she lived in Managua, Nicaragua where she became a teacher and principal of an elementary school. She moved to the United States in 1944, where she worked and studied to become a citizen and supervisor of a corporate data center until her retirement. She was an active member of the local senor center and her church group. She will be greatly missed however she has been united with our lord Jesus Christ. She also joins her husband Jesus Almonzor Barbosa and son Al J. Barbosa. Family and friends are invited to a Rosary and viewing at the chapel of Valente Marini Perata & Co., at 4840 Mission Street in San Francisco 94112 at 7:00 PM on Wednesday 12/29/2010. Funeral will be on Thursday 12/30/2010, a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered commencing at 11:30 AM at St. Kevins Church at 704 Cortland Avenue. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery 1500 Mission Street, Colma, CA.
