Dear Rich, Diane and family,
I just learned of your dad's passing. Please accept my condolences. We will not be able to attend the service as I have work commitment that I cannot change, but we will be thinking of you tomorrow. Please tell your mom how sorry we are and wish we could be there to tell you in person. Take care.
Love, Sis & Mike

Rich,
I am very sorry for the loss of your dad. I have great memories of us fishing together, and I still use the non-slip fishing line knot that he showed me. Please give my condolences to your mother.
