Richard Louis Valli May 17, 1937 - November 15, 2010 In this city on November 15, 2010. Richard was the cherished husband of Lillian Valli for 52 years. Devoted son of the late Mario and Rose Valli. Beloved brother of and brother-in law of Barbara Jean and Herbert Di Grazia. Dear brother-in-law of Aldo and Thelma Baiocchi. Proud uncle of Karen and Leonard Rossi, Donna Di Grazia, Valerie Pontarelli, Vickie Baiocchi and Paula Boyd. Adored great uncle of Janet Rossi. Commander in the Military and Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem, Past Grand President & life member of the Italian Catholic Federation, charter member of Branch 258 Italian Catholic Federation, Past Director of Transplant Recipients International Organization and a member of the San Francisco Italian Athletic Club. Friends may visit on Friday after 3:00PM and are invited to attend the Vigil Service also on Friday at 7:30PM and the Funeral Service on Saturday at 10:00AM from the Chapels of Valente Marini Perata & Co. 4840 Mission St., SF thence to St. Elizabeth Church (Somerset and Wayland Sts., SF) where a 10:30AM Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Committal will be private.

Mark and I have fond memories of Richard at the many ICF conventions that we attended over the years. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

I've known Richard since the late 90's when we both served on the National TRIO board. We hit it off well and became good friends. I will miss him. I guess I do already. Rita does also.
