Virginia Dooling

Virginia Marie Dooling Passed away, contrary to her nature, peacefully on November 30th. She was the daughter of John and Anna (Kingston) Dooling and raised in the Richmond District. She graduated from Saint Monica's grammar school, Lowell High School and attended the College of Notre Dame. She was a long time parishioner of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Virginia enjoyed her time in Woodside. The Dooling and Kingston families built houses in Woodside where the two families enjoyed many summers. While a lifelong resident of San Francisco, Virginia continued to summer in "the country" throughout her life. Professionally Virginia worked in the real estate industry for over 40 years, first as a real estate agent and later in private loans. Virginia is predeceased by her parents and her brother Jack K. Dooling. She is survived by her nephews John Dooling (Eileen), Matt Dooling (Catherine) and her sister-in-law Deliana Dooling. Virginia is also survived by her great niece Lily Dooling who brought her much joy. She is also survived by many good and loyal friends. A Visitation will be held December 6th from 2pm-5pm at Halsted N.Gray Carew & English. A rosary, followed by a funeral mass, will be held on December 7th beginning at 10:00 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Church located at 666 Filbert Street, San Francisco followed by interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Anne's Home in San Francisco.
