Sheila Murphy

Sheila (Julia) Murphy Feb. 5, 1919-Nov. 2, 2010 O f Jersey Street, San Francisco, on November 2nd, peacefully at Alameda Care Center, beloved daughter of the late William and Brigid Murphy, loving sister of the late Cornelius Murphy and Mary Dineen, sister-in-law of the late Jerome Dineen and Aunt of the late David Murphy. Deeply regretted by her loving family in Ireland, sister-in-law Peggy Murphy, nieces Margaret Dineen, Brigid Dineen, Breda O Donoghue, and Noreen Sexton, nephews, Liam Murphy and John Dineen, grand nieces and grand nephews, relatives and friends (in U.S.A. and Ireland). Member of Rebel Cork Ladies Association, Columban Fathers, L.A.O.H., Division 2 and the United Irish Cultural Center, former employee of the Star Bakery, Church Street. Pre-deceased by good friend Margaret Casey. R.I.P. (of S.F.) The family wishes to thank the staff of Alameda Care Center. A native of Curraraigue, Banteer, Co. Cork, Ireland, born there on 5th February 1919. May she rest in peace. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 3 p.m. on Monday, November 8th at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City. CA., followed by a Vigil Service to begin at 7 p.m. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 9th at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Church, 1086 Guerrero Street, San Francisco. Sheila will then be sent to Ireland for her final resting place.
