How can I begin to say how much you and Skip have meant to me. I would have been a different person had you two not been in my life. I will cherish the memories the rest of my life and I thank God that I still have Skip and I will do my best to stand in, for you, in the way that you wanted me to. I know that you are resting in peace now and are surrounded in love. Bye bye for now. Love Patty

To my wonderfully funny and sharp-witted friend and neighbor, I thank you for all the smiles you gave me for almost 20 years. You were always kind-hearted and generous to Denise and I, and always willing to share your time with us. I could always count on you to say "Hi babe," whenever I walked into your house. I loved that. I also loved the fact that you and I shared a passion for baseball, and though you bled Dodger-blue, you were always gentle with me for my love of the Giants. So my friend, thanks for being my friend. Til we meet again, I say, "So long, babe, peace be with you."
