It is with both sadness and joy that his family shares the passing of its patriarch, Eldon E Ellis, M.D, in the early morning hours of June 15: sad because he is no longer with us, and joy that his lifelong-journey is complete and he is now with the Lord.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

I knew Eldon Ellis in several capacities but mostly in later years when he served as chairman of the finance committee of the San Mateo IPA. His steady hand and wise counsel were invaluable to us. A life well lived!

Our thoughts & prayers are with the Ellis family. We have many wonderful memories collected over the many yrs we had the privilege of singing with Doc Ellis in the PCC choir. Bruce felt especially lucky to have been placed next to Eldon....he was always prepared & knew how to sing well.
May Gods peace be with the family. Gad bless each of you!

I remember Dr. Ellis as a humble and beloved friend to my parents, Cec and Leona Beattie, and to all of our family. In addition to all of his professional accomplishments, he was a fine musician and very ably led the choir of the First Baptist Church for a time in his early years. He was a kind and thoughtful friend.

Dr. Ellis was a well loved & respected member of the Masterworks Chorale of San Mateo for many years and was sorely missed by his fellow singers when he retired.

Fond memories of a wonderful Dr., father & human being! It is a pleasure to know his son, Buck & Daughter in law Chantelle (two of his many connections with eternity)
