Dane and I grew up together in Pleasanton. We were best friends all through school. A more caring, genuine person I will never meet. You'll always have a place in my heart, dear friend. With love, Rob and Dawna

I'm Dane's uncle (Doris' brother). Dane was truly one of a kind. A very special and sensitive person. And a HOOT, too. He could always get a laugh out of me. We will all miss him

Dane was such fun to speak with, and you knew he truly cared about his friends and family. His website was both funny and touching, and for the years I knew him through work, I considered him my friend. I will miss him.
