Kenneth Homer Obituary

Kenneth R. Homer Died November 14th, 2010 at the age of 82, leaving behind his good friend Bill, and family members Irene, Sue and Fred, who lovingly cared for him in the last few years of his life. Ken was born and raised in San Francisco along with his mother Genevieve and his father Frank, and his brothers and sisters Ethel, Kathleen, George, Helen, Dorothy, Jim and Ruth. He had two sons, Robert and Steven, and a granddaughter Amanda. He attended Sacred Heart grammar school and graduated from Mission High. After serving in the Navy during WWII, Ken worked at the Burgermeister brewery in the Mission district before opening his own laundry business in South San Francisco. Ken was a kind man who always greeted his friends and family with a smile. He loved watching old movies (he idolized Rita Hayworth) and writing poetry, especially about the places he visited and his beloved hometown.
