Mary Williams Obituary

Mary Jane (Bigazzi) Williams 5/20/1916 to 8/23/2010 Mary Jane was born to Alcide and Mary Ann (Ughetti) Bigazzi in Daly City, California. She passed away peacefully at Kaiser Hospital, South San Francisco after a short illness. She is survived by her sister, Gloria Radebaugh, son William (Bill) Williams, daughter-in-law Pat (Nichols) Williams, grandchildren William (Will) Williams, Samantha Jane Blanchard, Sean (Susan) Williams and Stephanie (John) Feliciano, great grandchildren Robert Blanchard, Jr., Amber Blanchard, Timothy Blanchard, Joshua Williams, Kaitlynn Williams, Jessica (Jeremy) Burton, Rebecca Feliciano and Jana Feliciano, as well as many nieces and nephews and their families. She married the love of her life, William Henry (Freck) Williams on February 5, 1935. She was predeceased by her husband, Freck, her children, Marilynn, David, Susan and Benjamin, by her parents Mary Ann and Alcide, her brothers Philip, Leo, Bernard, Archie and Carlo Bigazzi and her sisters Amalia (Molly) Thiel, California Bigazzi, Gemma Bell and Margaret (Geta) Webster. Janie was a good cook and could always make room for unexpected guests at the table. She loved to sew and crochet and could crochet any item without a pattern once she had looked it over. She also loved doing ceramics and her family has treasured gifts that she made for them. She enjoyed being a member of the DAR, Ladies of the Moose, the Elks and TOPS. She also travelled across the United States with her good friends as well as to England, Scotland nd Ireland with her sister Gloria, and two Caribbean cruises. She also liked to gamble and enjoyed many fun trips to Reno, Boomtown, Las Vegas and California casinos. She was proud of the fact that during her teen years she had her picture in the newspaper while she was working as a pretzel twister for a bakery in Daly City. Friends and family are invited to join us in a celebration of her life at noon on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the Feliciano home at 700 Clearfiled Drive, Millbrae, California.
