Stanimir Jacimovic Obituary

Stanimir "Sasha" Jacimovic Passed away on December 26 in San Francisco after a brief illness. Born in Serbia in 1939, Sasha received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Belgrade and became an expert in designing mass transportation systems around the world. His work took him as far afield as the Middle East, Taiwan, and Canada. He immigrated to the United States in 1981 with his wife Vukosava and their son Vladimir. A true gentleman and a brilliant mind, Sasha lived his life with great dignity and a sense of honor. Despite his many professional successes, nothing mattered to him more in life than his family. His grandchildren Alessandra, Marco, and Niccolo' were the light of his days. He is also survived by his son Vladimir with his wife Elisabetta, and by his brother-in-law Milorad with Rosemarie and their family. Sasha left us too soon, and we will never forget his generosity and kindness. The power of his example and the strength of his values will forever guide us through life.
