Dear Agnes and Family:

We were all so grieved and saddened to learn of Wally's passing.

Wally's enduring friendship meant so much to Joe and Dolores. As kids, we thought of Wally and Agnes simply as part of our extended family. The Leach family was the portion of the St. James parish community we knew the best. We remember Wally's good-natured cheer and raucous laughter at countless Poker Group games and Poker Picnics.

A few days before our Dad died, he spoke affectionately about Wally, and how their friendship had extended over more than sixty years. He marveled wistfully at how his and Wally's warm affection had persisted over seven decades.

All the Kanes extend our sympathies, condolences, and prayers to the Leach family.

Joe, Sue, Mary, and Barbara (David, Bridgid, Chuck, and Michael; Lisa and Louis; Tom, Meridith, and William)
