Entered rest peacefully surrounded by his family on
November 12, 2012, at the age of 62. Beloved husband of Stephanie Dennis; loving father of Jacky, Sammy (Emad), Clint (Taryn), Chad, Missy (Robert) and Josh; Son of Patricia and the late Andrew Dennis; brother of Sandy (Jim); adored grandfather of Jasmine, Mikey, Jamez, Justine, Anthony, Sammer,
Havah, Selah and Maron; great grandfather of Julian and uncle of Sami.
A well known dedicated and skilled tattoo artist, who loved and dedicated himself to his family, will be dearly missed.
Friends and family are invited to attend the Visitation, Tues., Nov., 20th, 4-8p.m., Garden Chapel, 885 El Camino Real, So. S.F., and Funeral, Weds. Nov. 21st, 11 a.m., Voice Of Pentecost Church, 1970 Ocean Ave., S.F., Burial, Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma, CA. Condolences may be made at

He was truly one of the great ones and I am certainly saddened by this news. He was so smart and had such attention to detail in his work. After my first time meeting him I knew he was more than an artist he was a master. To his family I send my sincerest concordances.

Dean and I met in 2005 in Modesto, Ca. We talked about tattoos and the Modesto area. Dean was always quick with a story about the tattoo days and was always a friend. When he came to Modesto he would visit with us and we would visit with him when we went to San Francisco. A great man and a very dear friend. We will miss you Dean.

I worked with Dean for over twenty years in South San Francisco and Burlingame.I was talking to Dean one day and he started telling me about tattooing with Lyle Tuttle in S.F. My brother in laws father and son owned the building were Dean and Lyle had the tattoo shop, we had a connection from then on. My heart goes out the family.
