Uncle Dean...I miss our talks. Love you...Kel

He was truly one of the great ones and I am certainly saddened by this news. He was so smart and had such attention to detail in his work. After my first time meeting him I knew he was more than an artist he was a master. To his family I send my sincerest concordances.
The world will be a little less colorful with out him : (

' DEAN HAS BEEN A GREAT FRIEND SINCE WE MET BACK IN 2005, WE HAD GREAT CONVERSATIONS OVER SCOTCH AND A SMOKE. HE SPOKE TO ME ABOUT PEOPLE I HAD ONLY READ ABOUT AND WAS A WEALTH OF INFORMATION . LOVE AND RESPECT FRIEND!

Dean and I met in 2005 in Modesto, Ca. We talked about tattoos and the Modesto area. Dean was always quick with a story about the tattoo days and was always a friend. When he came to Modesto he would visit with us and we would visit with him when we went to San Francisco. A great man and a very dear friend. We will miss you Dean.

I worked with Dean for over twenty years in South San Francisco and Burlingame.I was talking to Dean one day and he started telling me about tattooing with Lyle Tuttle in S.F. My brother in laws father and son owned the building were Dean and Lyle had the tattoo shop, we had a connection from then on. My heart goes out the family.
