Fran was a beloved teacher, psychotherapist, and colleague. Her infectious smile and warmth were extraordinary. She had a way of making people feel welcomed and respected. She was a brilliant and compassionate clinician, informed by the depth and breadth of her education and years of clinical practice. I loved her and looked up to her as a young clinician and in many ways emulate her to this day. She was a class act, in every domain; a lovely person who was able to do both, have a wonderful family and a successful and scholarly career. Her memory will always be a blessing to me. May it be so for everyone who was fortunate enough to be in her path. My condolences to her family and loved ones.
