Hello once again, I went through the photo memorial and saw the photos of Michael. I did serve with him in the Corps. I would like to extend to you a testimony about Michael: While serving together Michael witnessed to whom ever would listen and take him seriously; Michael would be my alpha-driver on motor-patrols when we were assigned together. I had heard that he claimed to be a Christian, so I would quiz him on his belief and things about the Bible. He always had an answer for me whether it was something he readily knew, or if he didn't he would wait until we were off patrol and find the answer for me. He was the first person I can remember ever witnessing to me about his faith. Today, I am a Christian, and a pastor of a small congregation. We are Southern Baptists, but I know that one day I will get to see Michael again and hug his neck. Again, I am very sorry for your loss here; but be courageous, for he is not lost, he is with the Father and his Savior today.

Hello, my name is Jon Daniels. I served with a Michael Parker at the Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown, Va. I am very sorry for your loss. I have been searching for Michael Parker for a couple of years unsuccessfully; I am respectfully asking if your Michael served at NWS, Yorktown from 1987-88? Again, I am very sorry for your loss.

To the Parker family,
I wanted you to know that Mike was my best friend and I will miss my friend. I do believe that some day we will meet again. Mike was not only a friend to me, he was my brother and a balance to most of the things in my life. I'll miss my friend. Love you. William.
