My brother Paul Onusic was friends with Wally until his own passing and I know heaven doesn't know what hit it with those two back together again. His smile and laughter always made my day better. Billie, my thoughts are with you and your family.

Gail,
My very best friend - 32 years of being there for each other through everything - the good, the bad, and the ugly. Both Daddy's girls with special bonds with the greatest men on earth - our Dad's Wally and Clair - they just don't make 'em like they used to. Wally did "his way" and you have to know he lived large and loved it. What a testimony to life. While the heaviness in your heart of losing him will never completely lighten, you will live in the memory of his smile (or should I say his devilish grin), his laughter (when Wally laughed, everyone else did too), and all the love and good times you shared. My heart aches for you, my friend, but 84 years - he had a good run and is partying like a rockstar in heaven!. God Bless You and Brian and Jess and Jenn. And, Billie, Doug & Joan, and the rest of the Heisler family. I love you all.

When sharing the news of Uncle Wally's death with our children, they shared fond memories of his generosity to them in Belle Fourche during the 4th of July Celebration when they were little. Beth remembers him giving them money to continue riding the rides. We will all miss him.
