JOE HINTON Obituary

June 22, 1945- June 2, 2011 Loving Husband, Father and Papa. Born in Pickensville, AL to Abe and Queen Hinton. He came to California by way of Ohio in 1975 and settled in Pomona. Joe pursued a career in the construction industry as a cement finisher. After an off-road accident that left Joe a paraplegic, he continued to enjoy life to the fullest with his loving family and friends. Joe is survived by his loving wife Annette, daughters and sons-in-law Evette and Domonic Howell, Aimee Hinton and Henry Frierson, Tara and Myguel Savage and his adored grandchildren that were truly the joy of his heart and light of his life. Domonic, Devin and Alicia Howell, Ayanna Brown and Kendyll Frierson and Ryka and Ryon Savage. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Abe, Jesse, Robert Earl, Bob, Johnny Hinton, Dora Grice, Mae Hinton, Lovie McKeathen, Louise Moree, and Savannah Hinton. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother and sisters: Jimmy Hinton, Alice Dancy and Elizabeth Murphy. Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 17, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at Todd Memorial Chapel, 570 N. Garey Ave., Pomona, CA.
