My Dear Pat,Amy and mother Edith.
The news of Johns passing was absolutely heartbreaking to our family. John was a man of such great character and integrity and will be missed more then words can say. He was a great example to Kelly, showing great love to Pat and Amy and how can we forget Johns wonderful soccer coaching, taking the UPLAND RAINBOW EXPRESS to so many victories in far away places as New Mexico and Idaho.
So many memories in over 30 years..never to be forgotten and always treasured.
Our deepest Sympathy to you all and hope God will touch you with peace and strength during these most difficult days.
Our Love, Don and Pat Johnson

Dear Pat & Amy & family:
You're in my thoughts. Coach John is one of my favorite people of all time. I am a better person for knowing him. He taught me so much about hard-work, practice, and relishing the fruits of your effort. He was always full of joy. I'll never forget him, and will strive to lead my kids (and their friends) using his example. I can't imagine the depth of your loss, and I hope our thoughts and love help you in some small way.

Pat, I'd like to extend my deepest sympathy. I know what you're going through, and when you're ready, please call, any time. One of my memories of John is his love of the game of soccer, and the times he came to watch my Michelle compete. The game seemed to always put a smile on his face. I know that Amy will be a great strength for you. My children are my rocks........our husbands blessed us with these special angels. I think of you daily. God bless you, Pat..........your Cal Poly buddy, Michaele

I’m very sorry to learn of John’s death. We were classmates from grade school through high school, and were in Scouting together as youths. John was one of the nicest people I’ve every met, and it was always a pleasure to see him. I remember seeing him shortly after we both had returned from Viet Nam. My deepest condolences to his family.

John was such an amazing man. I have so many fond memories of him, spending summers at the river, Rainbow Express soccer and spending most of my childhood with Amy. He was like a second Dad to me, so kind and wise with a great sense of humor. I will never forget his smile. He
will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers to Pat and Amy...love you both.
