I knew Ed from driving truck we met up in boston mass it was on thanksgiving we were both stuck with no place to go as we both lost our trailers at a shipper. we both worked for usxpress at the time I knew of a place and told him lets go get turkey dinner we went and ate and he shared a couple cold drinks as we were stuck for the holiday weekend. We kept in contact for a long time stopping off here and there for a drink and share stories as we both were new drivers we would call each other asking about different places we have been. I invited Ed down to alabama to goto mardi gras with me and my girl he came down and we had a week of fun going fishing at the gulf state pier then off to mardi gras . we later hooked up with ed and his daughter and we I rented a car and ed took us to breakfast and then we all went to the La zoo it was a blast he really loved that little girl he sent her all kinds of mardi gras stuff when he came down here. We also went off and toured hollywood with her and ed . I lost Eds number when I got a new cell phone a year or so ago and have been trying to find him as we missed Ed he was a special person he told me last time we talked that he wanted to get down here agin I made the best steak he had ever had and he liked the fresh gulf shrimp. We will miss him and all his stories of when he was younger diving and all the fun he had with his brothers. he always talked about one of them i believe he has in elko nv he told me he loved it out there alot. He also told me of a place up in Idaho where his uncle had some four wheelers to ride we rode mine and he said one day james you and lisa need to come back out west I really looked forward to seein ed agin he was a good guy. He sent me a box of Idaho spud bars from there they sure were good there are not to many good people like ed I think thats why we got along he told me i reminded him of his family . We will see you one day Ed you will never be forgotten your frind in alabama James Jeffrey [email protected]
