Don´t know if you will ever read this, but I remember all of you from The Bike shop. I was always down by the overpass getting new parts or tires or just hanging out in the late 50´s - early 70´s when we moved away. Great memories, thanks!

I knew Wayne only casually at CMC but remember him as a very, very fine fellow. (Maybe he got me a smudging job, at one dollar hour which was really good in those days.) For some reason he sticks in my mind. Good man. How sad that he is gone. Bob Treacy

I grew up in Montclair and went to MHS with Ginnie. My condolences to Mrs. Gallup, Ginnie and the rest of your family.

With deepest sympathy and love to the Gallup family I send you all my prayers. I was close to the Gallup family as well as my sister Kay. Teri and I used to have so much fun together, especially when we sang! I know the feeling of loss you are going through - what made it easier for me to cope with was remembering all the happy times I had with my mom. It does help! I wish I could be there to give you a hug - since I can't - I'm sending one your way. Please know that you will be in my prayers over the next few months. With all my love, Vicki

I know this is a tough time for the family and there is little that takes away the pain except perhaps time. Wayne had one of those personalities that was quite memorable. He was quite, but never afraid to speak his peace, gentle yet firm, fugal yet very giving and would always go fishing. One thing for sure, if there is a lake in heaven, the fish are in trouble.

His daughter Carol and I have been friends since Kindergarten and I spent many hours at their home. My first new bicycle was purchased at Gallup's Bike Shop. My prayers are for peace and comfort go out to the entire family.

My family moved next door to the Gallup family when I was entering 4th grade. I remember the neat bicycles they had and sometimes rode in the local parades. Wayne was such a sweet man. The heaping bowls of ice cream I saw him eat must have help keep him that way! I know he will be missed by all the family...but he leaves cherished memories for many. Fran we hold you and your girls in our thoughts as you go through the next few weeks getting used to him being gone, but know that you will hold him in your hearts the rest of your lives.
