ELPIDIO BECERRIL Obituary

ELPIDIO BECERRIL Age 82, passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord with his family and friends by his side, on Sunday, October 10, 2010, at his home in San Bernardino. Elpidio was born February 1928, in Mexico City, Mexico. His parents were Francisco and Soledad Becerril. At 2, his parents moved to the United States. He served in the U.S. Army for 4 years, and worked for the railroad until he retired at 62. At 21, he met a special lady, and married her a few months later. They were married for 60 years. A loving husband, dad, grandfather & great-grandfather, he is survived by his children - daughter, Angie Webb (husband, Allen), Richard (fiancee, Anna), Robert (wife, Mandy), Ronald (wife, Yvonne), & Raymond (wife, Michelle). Elpidio had 8 grandchildren - Adrienne, Adam, Michelle, Danielle, Marisa, Eric, Robert (RJ), Sarah; & 1 great-granddaughter, Mia Mona. He was preceded in death by his wife, Monica on September 12, 2010, and his daughter, Mona in 2004. His sisters and brother include, Herminia (husband, Levi), Felipe (CL wife, Frances), Rachel (late husband, Gregory), Aurora (husband, Joe), & Gloria (husband, Doug). A 10:30 A.M. Viewing and 11:00 A.M. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 14th at First Baptist Church, 4747 N. State Street, San Bernardino. Interment with honor guards will follow at Montecito Memorial Park, in Colton. A reception will follow the brief Burial Service at First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to First Baptist Church - Children's ministries. Elpidio and Monica were members of First Baptist Church. www.montecitomemorialpark andmortuary.com
