MARIA MANDALA Obituary

89, of Upland passed away October 27, 2010 at her home. She was born March 13, 1921 in Piana Degli Albanesi, Sicily and was an Upland resident for 50 years. Mary was a member of Sons of Columbus for 50 years. As a devout and faith-filled Catholic, she was the foundation of strength & wisdom in her family. As wife, mother & grandmother, her children and grandchildren were her world and meant everything to her. We will miss you "Nona" - You will forever be in our hearts. Mary is survived by 4 children - Maria White, Upland; Anthony (Lynne) Mandala, Fontana; George (Melissa) Mandala, Rancho Cucamonga; Matthew (Teresa) Mandala, Oakdale; 6 grandchildren - Matthew, Chad, Kyle, Madilynne, Josephine & Meagan. She was preceded in death by her husband Francesco M. Mandala. Visitation will be 9:30AM Wednesday (11/03/10) to Mass time at 10:30AM at St. Peter & St. Paul Catholic Church. Private Entombment. Stone Funeral Home, Upland in charge of arrangements.
