Sorry to hear about happy-go-lucky Art who I played PONY League with and later Colt League with his cousin Jim Salas. Saw him right before his service stint and after his arrival back. Was a line drive hitter who seldom struck out and great teammate. Always well spoken. The best to his family.

There is no other way to put it, but my dad was simply the BEST!!!! What an honor it is to be his baby girl. The joy he brought to my life is unmeasurable.... His stories, his jokes, his laugh, his smile, his support, and his unconditional love have left such an impact on my life and the lives of my kids. I just wish I could have one more day, one more hug, one more story, and of course one more joke. If I could just hear you call me mija one more time. You are always in my heart, and will always be my #1 guy, I love you dad!!!!!

I know your happier now. You would always talk crazy like that. But, we loved you too much to try to even listen to that. You were always a happy guy. But, had to deal with soo much crap. Wait for me, "Big*Guy". I'd definately be happy to see you when I get there.

Everyone Loves you soo much, and is going to miss you very dearly. But, not as much as I am. You were all I knew from day 1. I owe my success to you and grandma. Thank you for being in my life and taking care of me. Thank you for changing my diapers, taking me with you to get pie, ice cream and a movie. Letting me grow up at all the amusement parks with our whole family. Thank you for teaching me everything! I Love you Papa*Bear! Close your eyes and rest peacefully. Till the day when we can all be together again. In a better place with no pain. And better food. I Love you Arthur. You mean the world to me! ...

Art was a mentor and a father-figure to me. He helped me sort my life out at a young age and taught me many lessons that are still strong in my mind to this day.

Art, you will be missed but not forgotten. Thank you for all you have done. I can only continue to stide to be as good a man as you and to let people know that I am the man that I am today because of you.

I met Art when he was 3-years old and I was five, through his cousin Jim. Art and I remained friends throughout the years. He was a really good man.
He made a lot of sincere efforts for others that made a difference in many lives. He helped people. He cared about his fellow man.
May God bless and keep him always.
