Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear about happy-go-lucky Art who I played PONY League with and later Colt League with his cousin Jim Salas. Saw him right before his service stint and after his arrival back. Was a line drive hitter who seldom struck out and great teammate. Always well spoken. The best to his family.

There is no other way to put it, but my dad was simply the BEST!!!! What an honor it is to be his baby girl. The joy he brought to my life is unmeasurable.... His stories, his jokes, his laugh, his smile, his support, and his unconditional love have left such an impact on my life and the lives of my kids. I just wish I could have one more day, one more hug, one more story, and of course one more joke. If I could just hear you call me mija one more time. You are always in my heart, and will...

Art was a mentor and a father-figure to me. He helped me sort my life out at a young age and taught me many lessons that are still strong in my mind to this day.

Art, you will be missed but not forgotten. Thank you for all you have done. I can only continue to stide to be as good a man as you and to let people know that I am the man that I am today because of you.

I met Art when he was 3-years old and I was five, through his cousin Jim. Art and I remained friends throughout the years. He was a really good man.
He made a lot of sincere efforts for others that made a difference in many lives. He helped people. He cared about his fellow man.
May God bless and keep him always.
