I was looking at pictures of school friends and came upon one where David and I were playing with my commodore 64 on a sleep over. I wondered what ever happened with him since I moved away in 1986 so I Googled and see this. I'm so very sorry...at San G marching band and concert band, he was oboe, I was french horn and we took up each other's instrument to see if we could learn it. We did and we weren't half bad!! RIP David.

I went to school (Lytle Creek Elementary) with David in the late 70s/early 80s and we were in the same grade. I remember him because I had a crush on him and thought he was the cutest boy in the whole school! For some inexplicable reason, his name came to mind just today (30+ years later). I googled him and was shocked and saddened to see his obituary. Judging by the postings, it sounds like that little boy grew up to be an amazing man. My heart goes out to his family, fiancée, and friends. Rest in peace, David! I will always remember your smile and gorgeous eyes!

Dave was a very dear friend that i unfortunately, I lost touch but I know my brother willie was always there for him and vice versa! He was good hearted and watch out for me at shows when we were much much younger. The grate times we had will never be lost. My he rest in peace. Sincerly

I first met Dave in 2007 at "The Compound" if you will. He definately had a very contagious smile that infected you as soon as you made eye contact..he always made me laugh and he would always make sure he attended our gatherings be it Halloween, Thanksgiving, Xmas..basket ball, football...I will miss his presence.. but I smile when I say to myself.."we will all be together again someday"..R.I.P. my friend..forever missing you!

I first met Dave during Christmas 2008 at my sisters house. Dave's smile and jovial personality sure added to a great Christmas that year. RIP.
