As my Douglas Field Service mentor and friend, I will miss him greatly. Del introduced me into the FSR life in Lusaka Zambia. No one knew airplanes or enjoyed life like Del. I am very grateful for having had the opportunity to know Del and work with him for the time that I did. He is in a much better place now and I am sure he is looking down at us while enjoying a cold one with his Maui Wowies. - Rest in Peace my Friend.

We will miss Del. Days before he passed away, he gave me a recipe for zuchinni because Ken and I were getting tired of them growing in my garden one after another. Chop zuchinni in little cubes,he said, saute and add onions, garlic, corn and chopped Roma tomatoes, not regular, Roma, then pour in red wine until it sizzles. You will never tire of zuchinni again. So when you all make his concoction, you will think of Del. I will miss my dancing partner.

"Del will be missed and remembered for his wit, intelligence and generosity. He was the best Douglas Field Service Rep the company ever had. I worked with Del in Helsinki where he was greatly admired by our customer. He was also a champion darts-man in Helsinki, as well as a golfer in the Finnish snow. I will always remember you fondly, Del."

Del,
Redundant but true - you will be missed by all you have known. I for one have enjoyed playing golf with you as well as rehearsing many of our days in Product Support and Field Service in many countries. I will miss you at the MDC Retiree yearly meetings. Thank you Del for sharing part of your time with me. May god continue to bless you.
