ELDON SPENCER Obituary

65, of Rancho Cucamonga, passed away on October 31st 2010 while camping in Hemet California. Buzz was born in Wendell, Idaho, November 15th, 1944. Buzz is survived by his best friend of 28 years Faye Chapman, his son Cory (Diana) of Norco, Ca., his daughter Corinne Hoxit (Paul) of Oxnard, Ca., brother John (Debbie) Smith of Calimesa, Ca., Willie (Sue) Smith of Oologah, OK. Preceded in death by sisters Joyce Swearingen, Gaylene Bach, and brother Jimmie Smith. Buzz had extended family including Kim Carrigan (Bill) of New London, Ct., Margo Howard (Steve) of Castro Valley, CA., and Paige Searle (John) of San Diego, CA., grandchildren Amanda Parks, Madison and Nathan Spencer, Dillion Hoxit, Kelley, Ryan and Sharon Carrigan, Travis and Kyle Howard, Max and Mica May. Buzz owned and operated Dales Barber Shop in Chino, CA. Buzz also worked for the Cadet Barber Shop at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Ct., for 12 years. His personality made him popular with the young cadets. Buzz also enjoyed camping with Faye and the Los Coyotes Camping Club of So. Ca. When Buzz was not camping he enjoyed fishing in Bishop, CA. spending time in the yard relaxing with a cool beverage, and enjoying those he was in company with. Celebration of Life ceremony for Buzz will be held at the American Legion Hall Post #299 at 13759 Central Ave., Chino, CA. 91710 on Nov. 28, 2010 at 2PM.
