What can I say about Cookie, everyone already said all the good things, lol. I must say if it wasn't for Cookie, college would have been boring, he always made me laugh and always gave me great advice on everything, You taught the true spirit of Paying It forward, You were a genuine person who should have stayed longer, I am truly sorry I wasn't around or kept in touch. But the times we hung out you changed my life, thank you Cookie. You will be missed.

He was the sweetest guy. I got to know him well while dating one of his roomates in college and always hanging at the house. We went to beach, off roading and had several pictures of fun memories and times shared. He was always putting everyone first, he was a great friend the best listener-advice--giver I knew.. He will be TRUELY MADLY DEEPLY missed. Anyone who got the chance to meet and even share one conversation with cookie already knows that their life was blessed and a lil better off for have known Cookie. To his family...I send my prayers at this time and for Cookie--- We love you and know your watching over your friends and family. Candice Farshtey ( CSUSB zeta at the time) From redlands Ca

Joe was always a person that had a ready smile and a great attitude. I can honestly say that I never saw him in a bad mood or be unkind to another soul. Although he was not always blessed with good health, you never would have known it. He is an example to the rest of us to be grateful for the good things we have in life. Thanks Cookie, and keep on being the life of the party!

Joe, you will always be remembered by me as a great friend and brother. I am so sorry to hear of your passing on Wednesday. I did not get a chance to see you since the last time I came to UCLA Reagan Hospital to spend a day with you. I will be there to celebrate your life tomorrow and say my final goodbyes to you. You will be honored and remembered at the Bond Eternal Ceremony at next summer's Convention in Orlando, FL.
Forever in my heart, Rest My Brother.
