Marlena Tulich Obituary

TULICH-Marlena M. Tulich, was born in Poland on April 9, 1914, and passed peacefully to her eternal life on the day of Christ's birth December 25, 2010. She lived in Pasadena, California for the last 60 years of her life and for the last five years at The Oaks, where she enjoyed daily bridge games and her evening beverages with a group of girlfriends. Marlena touched countless lives with her energy, smile, kindness, and with her impeccable style which always included a great pair of heels. She was active in the Shakespeare Club and Women's City Club both of Pasadena, and was a member of the Los Angeles Opera Club. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Andrew's Church and if she had to choose one thing to be remembered for it would no doubt be her faith. She was married to her true love Stanley Tulich and they had a beautiful daughter Krystyna Yokaitis. Both Stanley and Krystyna proceeded Marlena in death and she is now with them again. She is survived by her two granddaughters Marlena Yokaitis and Kryssy Jamieson and her five great grandchildren: Lauren and Jordan Hayashi, and Collin, Nikki and Will Jamieson. She will be missed in person but her spirit will live forever in anyone she touched. The Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:00am Thursday, December 30, 2010 at St. Andrew's Church, Pasadena, with a visitation at Cabot & Sons at 9:30 prior to the service. The burial will follow at San Gabriel Cemetery.
